CHARLOTTE and METİN
Young and in love we married in Germany 1969,
Charlotte(German), Metin(Turk).
During our almost 40 years of togetherness
we worked at different schools and universities in Turkey and abroad.
Metin is a retired assoc. prof., a member of A.v.Humbold foundation and
the Academy of Sience N.Y. He is a professional translator and guide,
does study tours and ran over 10 years a carpet and Kelim shop in Efesus.
Charlotte is a teacher and ran her own shop with antiquities in Alsancak/Izmir over 25 years.
Whatever we did we did it with effort, care and love.
2007 we could make our dream come true moving to Alaçatı. It was love at the first
glance with this charming village.
We share the beautiful house with our guests who live separately on the second floor.
In my spare time I do reiqui and apply other energy therapies.
Metin runs in the village a store with semi valuable stones and cristals.
He is kowledgeable about the healing effects of stones; bracelettes specially
for chakra therapie or necklesses with your horoscope stones are favorites,
beside decorativ items, which are all designed and made by Metin.
